With EAA still on the horizon, there will be plenty to experience while you’re staying at Elsewhere in the Grind for the event. But whether you’re looking for some fun things to do outside of AirVenture, or if you’re visiting our city at some other time of the year, there are plenty of other fun things to do right here in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and the surrounding area. For example, you’re just a half-hour away from downtown Appleton, an hour from Green Bay, an hour and a half from Milwaukee and an hour and forty minutes or so from Madison. Just in case you’re unaware, the Experimental Aircraft Association (or EAA, for short) is an organization made by and for aviation enthusiasts. Every summer in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, the EAA hosts a massive event called EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, though it’s typically just referred to as EAA. This year’s event will take place from July 25-31, 2022, so if you’re ready to start looking for somewhere to stay during the event we’ve got you covered.
