Just in case you’re unaware, the Experimental Aircraft Association (or EAA, for short) is an organization made by and for aviation enthusiasts. Every summer in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, the EAA hosts a massive event called EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, though it’s typically just referred to as EAA. This year’s event will take place from July 25-31, 2022, so if you’re ready to start looking for somewhere to stay during the event we’ve got you covered. One of our newest properties, Elsewhere in the Grind, is located at the Historic Beach Building right in downtown Oshkosh, just a 10-minute drive from the event grounds.

Layout & Amenities

Originally designed to be a training school, the Beach Building in the heart of downtown Oshkosh has been renovated into a modern apartment building. This rental unit is a one-room apartment that can accommodate two guests, featuring a single bed and a private bathroom. Although just a single room, it’s quite spacious and features all the amenities of a full kitchen, plus a living and working space.

There are plenty of drawers and storage space found throughout the unit. You’ll also benefit from wi-fi, free parking on the premises and air conditioning.

What’s Nearby?

As mentioned, the grounds for EAA are just a 10-minute drive from the Beach Building Apartments. The building itself, though, features a coffee shop and the Rise & Grind Coworking space on the first floor. The latter is the perfect place to step away for some dedicated work time, while the former means you don’t have to go far for a good cup of coffee.

The building is walking distance from Main Street, which is filled with shopping and restaurants and plenty of additional fun things to do with your time not spent at AirVenture. Plus there are plenty of destinations for drinks and nightlife once the event closes for the day, also conveniently within walking distance.

We’re incredibly excited for this year’s EAA AirVenture Oshkosh event and cannot wait for you to stay at The Elsewhere Collection’s new property, Elsewhere in the Grind. Follow the button above to book your stay, or click below to contact us with any questions you may have.
