Bedrooms that Take Comfort Very Seriously

Vacation homes with comfortable beds in Savannah, GA, Oshkosh, WI and Waupaca, WI

We spend the majority of our lives in bed, which is precisely why we prioritize comfort in each bedroom at our Elsewhere homes. As most of us are housebound at this time, it seems especially appropriate to make our bedrooms feel like retreats. They should be sanctuaries where worries are unwelcome and the busyness of your day is left at the door. Beds shouldn't be used for working, overthinking or stressing. Instead, they should be spaces for decompressing, unwinding and escaping.

Elsewhere homes are all carefully curated to reflect the environment in which the home resides. Each space has a distinct style that speaks to both the building’s and city’s histories. The most common thread that connects the spaces, however, is the desire to achieve comfort, particularly in the bedrooms.

Fresh, white linens are used in every space to brighten the rooms and give guests a resort-like experience. Whether guests travel to the waterfront Cabin on Miner Lake in Waupaca, WI or Madison Manor in Savannah’s Historic District, they will be treated to crisp bedding in every room.

What is the best mattress brand for AirBNBs?

One of the most common questions we get asked is “what beds do you use in your homes? They’re so comfy!” We utilize Leesa mattresses in all of our spaces. They’ve continued to be reliable, comfortable and provide us as well as our guests the night’s sleep they deserve. When paired with lush down comforters and ample pillows, the mattresses become little havens that are quite difficult to leave.

Even if the only traveling we’re doing at the moment is in our daydreams, we hope one day to host you at one of our luxury vacation rentals. In Wisconsin we have our Historic Cabin on Miner Lake, Luxury Trailer on Grandview and Cottage on Beasley Lake all in Waupaca, WI. We also have our Modern Retreat on Lake Winnebago in Oshkosh, WI. Georgia is home to our Madison Manor in Savannah’s Historic District.
